Just sit down on it and tap with your hands to produce bass and snare drum sounds. Inside the cajon are fixed steel snare wires that provide a crisp tone for more range of sound. Made from 100% Baltic birch wood these cajons stack for easy storage and are equipped with soft foam lining inside to prevent damage when stacked. Side handles make them easy to grab and carry, which is so important in classroom settings. This pack of seven features six small cajons and one large one, making for a fantastically space-efficient way to kit out a music department. Better still, a drum exercise book for children and teachers is included to encourage Whole Class Ensemble Teaching (WCET), along with some fun stickers for the frontplate. Supplied with education resources Each stackable cajon is accompanied by an Activity Book, Drum Book and Hand Stickers to help young percussionists achieve quick and enjoyable results. The Drum Book is an easy-to-follow guide on how to set up the cajons and includes lesson plans on how to use the NINO Cajon System in a classroom setting, as well as a notation system with five basic symbols, each representing a different sound or action. Nino Drum Book The Activity Book offers a bright and colourful template for all Nino Cajon System activities and includes 12 double-sided pop-out cards that fit into the notches of the featured Beat Bar. The activity book also contains a simple preparation guide and description of each beat bar symbol. Nino Activity Book Beat Bar Stickers help even the smallest hands hit the mark time after time, easy to install beat bar stickers are included for each cajon. Consisting of two red hands and one blue, they match the design of the beat bar symbols so the youngest of percussionists can join in with confidence.
