Our extensive range of acrylic has just been expanded to include a whole array of cast acrylic sheets that contain evenly distributed glitter particles.

When processing with a laser try your usual speed and power settings as a test cut. You may determine that slightly higher power or slightly slower cutting speeds are required. Also, the better the smoke extraction the better quality of finish will be achieved which, in turn, will lead to less cleaning and finishing of the end result.

When engraving, to achieve a better contrast between engraved and engraved surfaces, use are air assisted cutting if your laser has it fitted. Rapid cooling of the engraved areas will lead to a more pronounced matt finish.

Note:

Please be aware that due to the manufacturing process this sheet can come with air bubbles in it. These will not affect the sheets cut in any way. The quantity of air bubble can vary from batch to batch and the colour of the sheet can affect how visible these bubbles are.

Tolerances:

• The manufacturing tolerance for the thickness of cast acrylic sheets are the stated thickness +/-10% plus +/- 0.4mm. This means a 3mm Acrylic sheet could be between 2.3mm and 3.7mm in thickness.
• Please note that can be colour variations between batches.

• The manufacturing process for these sheets can lead to variances in length and width measurements between batches. Tolerances of up to +/- 1.7% are possible. The maximum we have recorded is plus 10mm to a length measurement.
