It was developed in response to teachers of small groups and individuals who required a simpler and easier to maintain instrument.This model features reduced keywork, which is perfect for smaller hands, and yet it’s still capable of a chromatic 3 octave range, making it sufficient for playing up to Grade 3. It’s pitched in Bb and uses standard Bb clarinet fingering, allowing for an extremely easy transition when the player progresses to a full clarinet.Easy to assembleThis clarinet comes complete with the Howarth SimpleFit mouthpiece, ligature and cap set. It is a much easier way for young children to get used to fixing reeds to the mouthpiece, as the ligature is permanently fixed in place.
