Spinning, with the Gonge Carousel, is one of the best activities to help children gain a sense of body awareness and is of particular benefit for children with autism, helping to stimulate the vestibular system which can be a soothing activity.
The carousel seat is positioned at a slight angle which allows children to reach and propel themselves into a spin. The seat can also be set in motion by pushing with feet (especially in younger children).
