Vandoren Java alto sax reeds - 2 (box of 10)

The JAVA reed was developed in the early 1980's in order to target Jazz and popular music players. The reeds have a thicker tip when compared to the standard 'Blue Box' reed but also a more flexible palette. The latter allows vibration of a much larger surface area which allows much more freedom when it comes to 'bending' the notes.
