The top is made from Oregon Pine a wood which shares qualities with spruce. The grain is even and does a great job at projecting the sound back into the body of the instrument. The Sapelli wood of the sides is extremely attractive whilst being easy to shape and therefore provides the overall stability for the body of the guitar.
